Chief Mike Turner is more than just a Battalion Chief; he's a leader, a mentor, and a friend to so many in the Decatur Township Fire Department and the wider community. He has always been there for us, and now it's our turn to be there for him. Following a severe motorcycle accident, Chief Turner is currently on a ventilator and is bravely fighting serious brain injuries and a C1-C3 fracture.

For Firefighter Michael “Mick” Lilly of Meadville Firefighters IAFF Local 515, becoming a professional firefighter was a lifelong ambition. After serving part-time, his dedication earned him a full-time position just this year. Tragically, an accident while jump-starting a tractor has left Mick with severe injuries – a broken neck and shoulder – and the devastating possibility of never walking again.

Dylan, a dedicated FF/EMT with Havelock Fire-Rescue, has bravely served our community for over two years. A former Marine, Dylan embodies selflessness and commitment in everything he does. Now, Dylan and his family face a new challenge. He was recently hospitalized and diagnosed with a ruptured spleen and a mass on his kidney, requiring transfer to a higher level of care.
